RichRuff Training Exercise of the Week: Rope Battle - Split Stance Alternating Waves

A new tool I've worked into my conditioning is Ropes Gone Wild. The simplicity of this piece of "equipment" is what I love most. It's a rope!! But it's a rope that you can do multiple movement patterns with and a rope that is going to jack your heart rate through the roof. I also love the expression on my clients face when I let them know it's "Rope Time".

I've tried may different circuits. Here I'm doing Split Stance Alternating Waves. 30 seconds with one leg out in front. Rest for 30 seconds. 30 seconds with the other leg out in front. Rest for 30 seconds. Repeat for 4-6 rounds.




That is what I would call "cardio".
